(The audition rep is the SAME for all horn openings)

Orchestral excerpts:
Strauss Till Eulenspiegel – 1st and 3rd horn calls
Ravel Piano Concerto in G Major (standard excerpts)
Beethoven Symphony No. 6 – 3rd and 5th mvmts. (standard excerpts)
Beethoven Symphony No. 7 – 1st mvmt. (beginning of exposition)
Mahler Symphony No. 5 – obligato solos
Chamber music – a recording of a performance, if available
