Breckenridge Music Festival Concert: “South of the Border” Thursday August 19th

The Breckenridge Music Festival (BMF) is pleased to present a Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra concert entitled “South of the Border.” The evening’s performance will celebrate the spicy music of the Latin world from Madrid to Buenos Aires.  Selections from the evening will including: Surinach’s Ritmo Jondo, Gutierrez’s Pavana for Strings, Falla’s Suite No. 1 from The Three Cornered Hat, Sarasate’s Navarra for Two Solo Violins and Orchestra featuring Nathan Olson and Kathryn Hatmaker, Golijov’s Last Round and Ginastera’s Estancia; Four Dances.

Please join the Breckenridge Music Festival Orchestra under conductor Gerhardt Zimmermann, for an energetic evening highlighting the works from the Latin world at the Riverwalk Center on Thursday, August 19th at 7:30 pm.
