Featuring Philadelphia Orchestra members, Elizabeth Hainen, Principal harp, Jeffrey Khaner, flute, and David DePeters, percussion.
Drawing inspiration from Murray Schafer’s “Crown of Ariadne” which retells the myths of Theseus, Ariadne and the Minotaur, one of the most eclectic programs of the season gathers chamber music from four rich cultures. Enchanting French works from two eras and Gershwin’s virtuosic Preludes complete the journey.
Post Concert, head down valley to the charming Silverthorne home of Fran and Barry Lazarus. Enjoy an array of wines, cheeses, hors d’oeuvres and desserts and a chance to meet and greet the musicians and friends, old and new.
