If you have already sent in your money and have a conflict on March 4th, please let us know and you will be refunded.

When 11 Summit County ladies, ages 56 to 78 (average age of 66-1/2), decided to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, the fourth-highest of the Seven Summits and the highest peak on the African continent, many doubted that all would reach the summit. They proceeded to prove all naysayers wrong! ALL summited and their route of ascent was considered most challenging by their trusty guides.

Join this intrepid and inspirational band of female adventurers at the Breckenridge CMC for a video presentation, followed by a question and answer session, to find out all you ever wanted to know about their unforgettable adventure and the magical draw of this lofty peak. Then head to the lovely Breckenridge home of climber Karen Hynds, where “the ladies” have prepared an East African/Tanzanian repast sure to tickle your taste buds. Delicate curries, stews, bean, rice and cornmeal dishes, chapati (East African bread) and lots of fresh vegetables and exotic fruits are staples of traditional Tanzanian meals. Fortunate diners are in for a tasty treat. Of course, you’ll also have more opportunities to meet, mingle and chat with these very special women about their adventure of a lifetime.

You go, girls!
