In conjunction with the Breckenridge Music Festival’s presentation of Charlie Chaplin’s The Gold Rush, local historian, Rick Hague, will provide a short background of the social, political, and technological significance of various gold rushes in the 19th century. Hague’s presentation will illuminate the historical context of Chaplin’s film, which will be screened with live music performed by the Festival Chamber Orchestra at the Riverwalk Center after the lecture. In partnership with the Breckenridge Heritage Alliance.
