Featuring a rotating collective of virtuosic vocalists with sizzling stage presence, Postmodern Jukebox performs pop music in a time machine, reimagining Top 40 hits by artists such as Beyoncé, Celine Dion, Radiohead and more with vintage, Gatsby-esque glam and a contagious energy that will have audience’s toes tapping.
Bradlee, the mastermind behind the group, has turned Postmodern Jukebox into a juggernaut by building an incredible grassroots movement around the act. He continues to pick the songs, create the arrangements and shows, and organize the performers, including notable names alongside phenomenal “undiscovered” talent. The group releases a new video every week, each shot in the casual environment of Bradlee’s living room where he can often be seen playing piano in the background.
Since beginning their touring career in 2014, the artists of Postmodern Jukebox have consistently played in bigger venues each time they’ve returned to a market. Last year, they played two sold-out shows at the PlayStation Theater in New York City, followed by their performance this year at Radio City Music Hall.
Their many accomplishments include envisioning Radiohead’s alt-rock hit “Creep” as a torch-like ballad that’s accumulated over 30 million views and was named one of the “9 Best Viral Cover Videos of 2015” by People magazine. Multi-Grammy winning artist Lorde praised Postmodern Jukebox’s vintage take on her hit single, “Royals,” which has been viewed over 18 million times, as her “favorite.”
