Explore all the unique ways below that you can give to the BMF.

Annual Giving:  Annual Fund contributors give the BMF the financial flexibility to provide the comprehensive menu of music events that enhances the quality of life in our mountain community.  Gifts can be made in honor of or in memory of someone.  All Annual Fund donors receive a variety of attractive benefits.  (link to benefits)

Matching Gifts: Companies offer matching grant opportunities when their employees make a contribution to a nonprofit. Matching gifts are an easy way to double the impact of your support. To see if your donation is eligible for matching by your employer, speak with your human resource department or your employee programs office.

Marketable Securities:  Donors may choose to use gifts of appreciated stock to maximize tax benefits. More individuals are finding gifts of appreciated stock to be an ideal way to support the music they love. By giving stock, you ensure the same impact as a regular Annual Fund contribution, while avoiding capital gains tax and gaining federal tax deductibility.  Click here for our instructions on distributing stock.

Planned Gifts:  These deferred gifts (such as bequests) ensure that music is an accessible gift to future generations.  Those who include the BMF as a beneficiary in their wills, trusts, life insurance policies, retirement plans and other estate-planning arrangements are an integral part of the BMF’s future.

Program Support:
Education Outreach Programs:  Gifts may be designated to support the BMF’s Music in the Schools program, providing access to music for children – Kindergarten through 12th grade – throughout Summit, Lake and Park counties.  Music performances and workshops are designed to expand and enrich the arts curriculum as well as to nourish the creative processes in learning and enhance problem-solving skills that transfer to all areas of learning and living.  Arts enrichment familiarizes students with our cultural heritage and introduces them to the enjoyment that music can add to their lives.  Each year between 3,500 regional school children on average participate.

Community Engagement Programs:  The BMF partners each summer with the Breckenridge Mountain Camp’s Summer Camp to create “Music Mania” week.  Festival Orchestra musicians representing strings, woodwinds, brass, and harp visit the camp each day of the week, introducing children to their instruments, their sounds and the roles they play in an orchestra.  At the end of “Music Mania” week the Festival Orchestra invites the campers to attend the free Family Concert designed with young listeners in mind.  But parents and grandparents enjoy the concert as well with shows featuring narrated musical stories like Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” and Lemony Snicket’s “The Composer is Dead,” and favorite music from Star Wars, Bugs Bunny, or the Lone Ranger.   Community Engagement programs also feature in-school master classes, performance and artist residencies.

Corporate Sponsorships:  Be it client entertainment, brand visibility, employee engagement, commissioned works, volunteer opportunities or pure philanthropic investment, we at the BMF are dedicated to ensuring that each partnership is tailored to maximize corporate objectives and advance community investment strategies.  Our corporate partners help sustain the excellence that makes the BMF a vibrant cultural asset to Breckenridge and all of Summit County.  Sponsorships offer a variety of benefits including invitations to donor events and opportunities to entertain clients while enjoying exclusive recognition and advertising spots in the Summer Program book, as well as online and email marketing.

Advertising Opportunities: You can support the BMF by placing an ad in the Season Program Book. Your ad will reach nearly 10,000 patrons and concertgoers during the festival. Advertising in the BMF Summer Program Book is an extraordinary opportunity to highlight your business to both Summit county residents and visitors each summer. Advertisers in the BMF Summer Program book achieve targeted, premium positioning with a long-lasting impact among Festival attendees as well as a variety of ticket and even website link benefits.  Programs are distributed at all BMF concerts and placed in lodging establishments and at Visitor’s Centers across the county.

In-Kind Gifts:  These business or personal contributions are enormously important to help support the costs of producing the Festival.  Businesses and individuals can show their support through gifts of lodging, food, beverage, advertising space and auction items.
